Just to let you know a little about us---my husband and I have been married since 1983 and we have been blessed with four children that were born to us and two more that we are especially close to.  (One is a former student that I had in 2nd grade and the other we had the privilege of providing a home to.)  We are so proud of each one.  We love the ones that they have chosen to spend their lives with as well.   Along with being a wife and proud mom, I have had the privilege of teaching elementary school children for many years and the topics that I write about come out of my experience with children and what they need to hear.
